Vorobiev Dmitry Victorovich

Education: Moscow State University, Faculty of Law. Major: private international law. Dmitry has an LL.M degree in Comparative Law. In 2004, Dmitry received an Executive MBA from the University of Antwerp, Belgium.

Professional experience: Dmitry has successful experience advising clients, Russian and foreign companies on a wide range of legal issues. Dmitry has expertise in managing large legal projects for transnational corporations, such as Caterpillar, Nokia, in various jurisdictions, i.e. Switzerland, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Bangladesh, and Namibia.
Since 2009, leads privet practice.

Areas of specialization: international private law, international civil litigation, cross-border M&A transactions, corporate law and corporate governance, contract law, antitrust and foreign exchange regulation.

Hobbies:Dmitry is a candidate for master of sports in gymnastics; he is fond of mountaineering, and he has climbed the 5 highest peaks of the world.

Klochenko Lilia Nikolaevna

Ph.D., FCIArb, attorney, arbitrator, mediator

Education: holds a law and PhD degrees from International Law Faculty of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations cum laude, is a Fellow at the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (London), is certified for international arbitration from the ICC Advanced Arbitration Academy and qualified for international mediation advocacy at Regent University (London). Lilia is Russian qualified attorney at law.

Professional experience: Lilia has unique practical experience in Russian and international insurance and reinsurance companies (Cologne Re, Germany, Renaissance Insurance Group, Russia, Ingosstrakh IJSC, Russia), and since 2000 has been leading her private practice.

Lilia participated as an advisor in projects to enter the Russian market for the biggest insurers from Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, the USA, the largest specialized insurers for export credit insurance of France, the Netherlands, Belgium, the largest reinsurer of France; in complex legal support of Russian subsidiaries of foreign investors; in international share sale and purchase transactions of insurance companies, construction industrial enterprises, IT technology and communication companies, restaurant, industrial and financial holdings; NPF restructuring; in the reorganization and foundation of international holdings with the participation of companies in the jurisdictions of Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Cyprus; acted as a legal adviser in the settlement of losses of varying degrees of complexity and scope in the electricity industry, metallurgy, operation of sea vessels, aviation and aircraft industry; she is a day-to-day attorney on a wide range of competencies for companies in various fields of activity and industries.

Lilia successfully represented clients in state arbitrazh courts of all instances, including the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, i.a. in corporate disputes, tax disputes, antitrust disputes, appeal of transactions concluded under the foreign law, cross-border family disputes with an international element, recognition and enforcement of international arbitral awards, legal consulting on the arbitral awards enforcement procedure in Austria, Germany, France.

Lilia is a certified international arbitrator and focuses her practice on dispute resolution, including international and domestic arbitrations and litigations. Lilia acted both as a party representative or arbitrator, as an expert to the case or advisor to a party in dispute resolution conducted under DIS, ICC, LCIA, VIAC, ICAC, MAC, UNCITRAL Rules and pure ad-hoc proceedings as well as a mediator. Lilia has experience in successful mediation procedures in corporate, labor, family disputes, including the cross-border (Germany, Austria, France, Hong Kong) disputes.

Lilia is a native Russian and Ukrainian speaker, and also speaks English, German, French and Polish.

Research and teaching: Lilia is the author and co-author of several monographs, textbooks and study guides, the author of about 100 scientific and scientific-practical articles, a frequent speaker at national and international conferences, seminars and roundtables.

Areas of major: Lilia advices Russian and international clients on investment structuring, corporate law and corporate governance, contract law, civil law and civil procedure; private international law; international arbitration and mediation; insurance law and reinsurance; antitrust regulation; structuring and transaction support; strategies for investors to enter the market; financial/tax law; labor law, migration and integration regulation; family law with a foreign element. Lilia’s areas of legal practice also include international law, complex damages, data protection, competition/antitrust and bankruptcy law issues.

Hobbies: Lilia is interested in oil and watercolor painting, collecting antique books in the field of law and international politics, riding, chess.

Kuznetsova Natalia Lvovna

Natalia participated as a consultant on Russian law issues for companies such as Sakhalin III, Kaluga Brewing Company, ABB, Daimler Chrysler AG, in conducting complex legal due diligence of Russian companies for foreign investors, in building corporate structure in the CIS countries for foreign holding groups, in international mergers and acquisitions (M&A) support in the electricity sector, real estate investments, for example, M&A transactions for the sale of a seaport shares, gas distribution companies shares in Ukraine, shares of 2 electricity distribution companies in Ukraine, in the foundation and reorganization of a large multipurpose holding company, including corporate governance control system, with the participation of companies in the following jurisdictions: Russia, Ukraine, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Malaysia, Switzerland, Luxembourg with an asset value of 500 million dollars, and others.

Natalia successfully and effectively represented the clients’ interests in arbitration courts of all levels, including the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, including on the recognition and enforcement of international arbitral awards, criminal courts, including on white crimes, in the largest multibillion-dollar investment dispute involving states according to UNCITRAL arbitration rules, in the arbitral awards enforcement procedure in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Sweden, Great Britain.

Natalia is a certified international arbitrator for the settlement of disputes under the rules of ICC, LCIA, she has practical knowledge, including an expert acting for an institutional arbitration center, such as the ICAC at the RF CCI.

Research and teaching: Natalia is a regular participant of scientific conferences, the author of a number of articles and scientific publications on international private law, a member of the editorial board of the Commercial Arbitration magazine published under the patronage of the RF CCI.

Areas of specialization: business law of Russia and the European Union, international commercial arbitration, international civil litigation.

Spheres of interest: legal regulation of biotechnology.

Hobbies: Natalia is interested in equestrian sports, a novice judge in dressage competitions, a member of the Go club.
